Competitive partner dancing is fun, exciting, scary, and for many people an adventurous and courageous dream come true.  The organizers of April Follies have arranged several classes, in both San Francisco and the East Bay, to help brand new dancers prepare to compete.  No prior experience needed! Classes will begin in January, 2017, and run until the AF competition.  Their purpose is to prepare new dancers to compete by teaching basic dance routines to use in the competition, as well as beginning technique and partnering skills.  Classes will be team-taught by experienced dancesport competitors who have, themselves, competed at April Follies. San Francisco classes $5-$15 per person, sliding scale Metronome SF, 136 Missouri St. @ 17th St., Potrero Hill Beginning Waltz and Tango Thursdays, 6-7pm Beginning Rumba and Cha-cha Thursdays, 7-8pm
